I am Ben Sissman, and I have more than 30 years of experience handling bankruptcy law and creditors' rights issues in Memphis, Tennessee. I have helped thousands of individuals file for bankruptcy and I am a Certified Creditors' Rights Specialist.

I am a fourth-generation Memphian, father of two and husband to a retired Memphis City school teacher. I work in an office with three legal assistants and I usually answer my own phone calls.

For every client, my goal is to help him or her successfully discharge and manage his or her debt while educating him or her about how to avoid problems in the future. Many people are scared by the idea of filing for bankruptcy — but it's nothing to be afraid of. In reality, bankruptcy is the first step you can take toward attaining a more secure financial future.
